STS Oberholz is located at the junction between the Ruhr area and the Rhineland, in Velbert, about 20 km from Düsseldorf. For almost 25 years we have been active here as a motivated family business in the caravanning accessories business. During this time, we have been able to gather a great deal of valuable industry-specific experience and are therefore able to support our customers with our comprehensive know-how as a qualified partner.
Founded in 1997, STS Oberholz quickly developed into a major supplier of security and locking systems for caravans and motor homes. And in the meantime, the next generation has taken over the management responsibility for the agile company.
At the beginning of 1999 there was a change of baton at STS Oberholz: Isabel Oberholz-Dusser, a proven expert in the field of locking technology, took over the management of the company from her father. Since then, with entrepreneurial foresight, she has led a company that has grown steadily – a success that is also due to the dedicated employees who have faithfully supported the company for many years.
By the way: the third generation is already in the starting blocks. After his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, Jérémie Dusser, the son of the owner, has started his business studies and is about to continue the tradition of the family business.
Our philosophySustainable good quality
In everything we design, develop, produce and sell, we are committed to a simple philosophy: We offer only high quality products at reasonable prices. And this applies to our trade products as well as to our own developments. It is extremely helpful that, as a self-sufficient company, we do not have to take into account the short-term interests of investors.
Speaking of in-house developments: Because dialogue and cooperation with our customers are a top priority in our company, the suggestions and proposals of our business partners are regularly incorporated into the development of new products. And this area of in-house developments will be strengthened in the future, with four maxims in the foreground:

As a family business that thinks in terms of generations, we not only take responsibility for our customers and our employees, but also for society and the environment: we take strict care to minimise the environmental impact of our business operations and production.
